Refund Policy

 1. Booking & Retainer (Deposit)

  • A non-refundable retainer (typically 25%–50%) is required to secure your event date.

  • This retainer reserves your date and compensates for lost booking opportunities.

 

 

2. Client Cancellation Policy

  • More than 60–180 days before event:

    • Payments (excluding retainer) may be partially refundable depending on timeline.

  • 30–60 days before event:

    • Partial refund or credit may be issued.

    • Retainer remains non-refundable.

  • Less than 30 days before event:

    • No refunds — full balance may be due due to reserved time and preparation.

 

 

3. Same-Day / Late Cancellation

  • Cancellations within 48 hours–7 days of the event:

    • No refunds

    • Client may be responsible for 100% of contracted amount

 

 

4. Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling is allowed with advance notice (typically 14–30 days)

  • New date is subject to availability

  • Retainer transfers to new date (one-time transfer recommended)

 

 

5. Cancellation by DJ / Company

  • If the DJ cancels due to unforeseen circumstances:

    • Full refund issued, including retainer

    • OR a qualified replacement DJ may be provided

 

 

6. Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Events)

  • Includes weather, emergencies, government restrictions, etc.

  • Options:

    • Reschedule event

    • Credit toward future booking

    • Partial or full refund depending on situation

 

 

7. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are issued within 7–30 business days

  • Processing fees (if any) may be deducted

 

 

8. Written Notice Requirement

  • All cancellations/reschedules must be submitted in writing (email/text)

  • Verbal cancellations are not valid
